Charity
and Larry Olstad have a lifetime of horse related experience. Both grew
up around horses and have developed a passion for the equine sport.
Charity's experience stems from owning her first pony at the age of
3, becoming a pony club member, and then instructing pony club. She
then moved on to complete the Olds College English Training Program
and worked out at many stables, training and showing horses.
Larry grew up with ranch horses, where he spent most of his time in
the saddle, checking fence, pasture and the well being of the cattle.
Since
marriage in 1997, Larry and Charity have worked with several Alberta
based breeding farms. In doing this, they have an ever changing group
of young horses to work with. The primary focus is to turnout several
different types of warmblood horses for all types of riders with special
attention placed on temperament and rideability.
In
May 1999, Charity and Larry welcomed the new addition to their family;
Colton Lee Olstad. In September of 2000, they were blessed with their
second son; Connor Dennis Olstad. Since then, Larry and Charity have
been kept very busy with their family life as well as with horses and
Larry's company, Alberta Trucks Ltd.
In
October of 2003, the Olstad's purchased the equine property of their
dreams. Thorough land and yard renovations were in order which included
re-fencing the property, constructing new pens and outdoor arena, leveling
land and planting trees. The Olstad's hard work and dedication is driven
by their desire of the equine athlete.

At
